The weather has cooled down the water and both the bass and crappie are doing pretty good. We have caught some really nice crappie this year and a good many of them as well. The bass have had good numbers but the size has come and gone. You can still catch some really nice fish right now and the lake is very pleasant with light boat traffic which makes for a pretty good day. Just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean you have to be in the woods hunting this can be some of the best times to fish. We have restructured our website so maybe we can keep it up to date now.
